THE MISSING COLOURS

  
     ─ Hum, hum! No, no, sir! It isn’t complete yet!
There are two still missing here… black and white.
There they come, together as usual.
There they go, together even when they follow different directions…
The path is the same, the path of life!
Can you see them, entangled in each and every colour?
Take a piece of white, take a piece of black
And red will be really red as roses do
Yellow will be sunny in sunflowers
Green will lie on the grass
And keep alive the prairies in your mind.
Orange and pink will kiss the clouds
And sunset will stand still just for your eyes.
Blue, what can we do without blue?
Without sky, without oceans,
Without stones
Without flowers
Without birds?
Oh, and don’t forget the brown earth
And the grey storms, thunder and lightning.
They only make the bright days brighter.
Yes, and they are here too!
Gold and silver
Moon and sun
Stars and stories
Day and night
Dawn and dew.
All together they create the world.
So, you see, sir,
What could we do
Without black and white?
Now we can all sleep peacefully
And rise in the rainbow…
